An Aqara Zigbee 3.0 hub or a compatible Zigbee coordinator is required.
Overload protection, consumption monitoring and wireless two-way switching
Automatic overheat and overload protection cuts off the circuit when safety thresholds are exceeded, without manual intervention. The H1 EU monitors the energy consumption of each circuit via the Power Monitoring function to identify energy-intensive equipment and create automations from the Aqara Home app. 2-way or 3-way configuration is possible via a compatible Zigbee hub, without additional wiring between control points.
Flexible integration into major home automation ecosystems
Compatible with the Aqara ecosystem and supported by some Zigbee 3.0 platforms such as Home Assistant (ZHA), Zigbee2MQTT, ConBee or SmartThings, subject to software compatibility. Paired with a compatible Aqara hub, the Aqara H1 EU switch can be integrated into Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa and IFTTT. It can also be supported by some home automation platforms such as Home Assistant via Zigbee2MQTT or ZHA, depending on your installation's compatibility. Custom automations allow lighting to be programmed according to household routines. For advanced configurations, the Aqara H1 EU Zigbee wall switch also supports control via voice commands from all compatible assistants.

Is this switch compatible with Zigbee coordinators from other brands?
Yes, the H1 EU works with compatible Zigbee 3.0 coordinators such as the Sonoff Zigbee Bridge Pro, Conbee dongles and the SmartThings hub, in addition to native Aqara hubs.
Can the H1 EU be installed without a neutral wire?
No, this version (WS-EUK04-G) absolutely requires phase + neutral wiring. For installations without a neutral wire, another reference from the Aqara range is necessary.
Does two-way configuration require additional wiring?
No, 2-way or 3-way configuration is done via the Zigbee hub and the Aqara Home application, without running additional cables between the control points.
Is the Aqara H1 EU Matter compatible?
Yes, when paired with a Matter-compatible Aqara hub (e.g. the Hub M3), the switch can be exposed to Matter-compatible platforms such as Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa or Home Assistant.
