The Aqara E1 smart roller blind driver motorizes your existing blinds without electrical work. It screws in in minutes, is powered by a lithium battery with two months of autonomy and integrates with Apple HomeKit, Google Home, Alexa and IFTTT via Zigbee 3.0. Your blinds open and close according to your schedule, your automations or your voice.
Installation in minutes, on your existing blinds
The Aqara E1 smart roller blind driver attaches to the wall with two screws, the adapter is placed and the beaded cord is inserted directly into the motor. No electrical wiring is necessary. The device is compatible with blinds whose cord has plastic or metal beads between 3 and 6 mm thick. Charging is via USB-C, with two months of autonomy on a single charge, more than double that of comparable products.
Programming, predefined positions and home automation
The Aqara E1 smart roller blind driver allows you to define precise schedules: opening when you wake up, closing when you leave, intermediate position when you return. Automations go further by connecting the blind to other Aqara devices. The blind closes automatically if the motion sensor does not detect any presence for 10 minutes, or if the door sensor indicates that you have left. An Aqara Zigbee 3.0 hub is required to activate these features.
A long-lasting battery and hassle-free charging
With two months of autonomy on a single charge, the Aqara E1 smart roller blind driver can be forgotten in everyday life. The integrated lithium battery is simply recharged via the included USB-C cable, without disassembly or replacement. The device operates from -10°C to +55°C, making it usable both in a living room and in less heated spaces such as an office or a veranda.
Compatible with your entire Aqara home automation ecosystem
The E1 naturally pairs with other Aqara devices for more complete automations. Coupled with a brightness sensor, it adjusts the position of the blind according to the sunlight. Associated with a presence or door sensor, it reacts to your habits without manual intervention. All of this can be configured from the Aqara Home application, with Apple HomeKit, Google Home, Alexa or IFTTT depending on your installation.
