Precise regulation, even without an internet connection

The W500 reads the temperature from multiple sources: its built-in sensor, a wired NTC floor sensor, or an associated Aqara temperature and humidity sensor. Calibration is adjustable to ±5°C for truly precise control. Schedules can be programmed for 7 time slots per day, 7 days a week, with 5 preset modes available. Once configured, they run locally on the device, even in the event of an internet outage or hub disconnection.

The Aqara W500 underfloor heating thermostat monitors real-time consumption and tracks daily and monthly history from the Aqara Home app. If a window remains open, the heating automatically pauses. Without a sensor, a sudden drop in temperature triggers a 30-minute pause. Configurable temperature margins between 0.5 and 3°C limit unnecessary on/off cycles, which preserves equipment and improves comfort. Frost protection maintains a minimum temperature around 5°C, and automatic cut-off in case of overheating or overload secures the entire system.

Thread or Zigbee, your choice depending on your setup

In Thread mode, the W500 connects directly to Matter ecosystems without an Aqara hub. In Zigbee mode, it unlocks advanced features of the Aqara ecosystem and remains backward compatible with existing hubs. Switching between the two protocols is free according to your preferences. The power supply supports up to 16A and 3600W resistive load, making it suitable for the vast majority of underfloor heating installations in Europe.
