Hidden behind an existing switch in just 37 × 42 × 16 mm, it takes control of two electrical circuits from your phone, your voice or automatic programming. Roller shutters, blinds, gates, curtains, lights or household appliances: everything can be controlled remotely thanks to the Shelly 2PM Gen3 dual-channel relay module, without a hub or additional gateway. It works via direct 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi from the Shelly Smart Control application.

 

Raise and lower your shutters automatically, adjust the angle of your Venetian blinds

In roller shutter mode, the 2PM Gen3 manages the two directions of rotation of a bidirectional motor from a single interface. Program opening in the morning, closing in the evening, or trigger the shutters according to brightness or other conditions. For Venetian blinds, the angle of inclination of the slats is adjustable directly from the application to precisely control the light entering the room, without getting up from the sofa. Motorized gates and awnings work on the same principle.

 

Monitor your electricity consumption in real time with the Shelly 2PM Gen3 dual channel relay module

Each of the two channels of the Shelly 2PM Gen3 dual channel relay module is equipped with an integrated voltmeter and ammeter that measure consumption in real time. You see exactly how much electricity each connected device consumes, which helps identify energy-intensive items and take concrete action on your bill. The internal temperature sensor monitors the relay's heat and automatically cuts off in case of overheating to protect your installation.

 

Scripts, MQTT and Wi-Fi repeater for home automation enthusiasts

For those who want to go further, the 2PM Gen3 supports custom scripts, 20 webhooks with 5 URLs per trigger, MQTT, WebSocket, HTTPS, UDP and TLS. The Wi-Fi repeater function extends network coverage in areas far from your box, and the integrated Bluetooth gateway connects nearby BLE sensors. The multi-voltage power supply (110-240V AC or 24V DC) makes it compatible with the vast majority of electrical installations in Europe.

FAQ

Can the Shelly 2PM Gen3 be used only for two lights, without a roller shutter?

Yes, roller shutter mode is optional. In classic switching mode, each channel independently controls a lighting circuit, a fan, a socket or any other device up to 10A. You choose the mode at the time of configuration in the application.

Is an electrician required to install the 2PM Gen3?

Installation is behind an existing wall switch and requires handling electrical wiring. If you are not comfortable with electricity, we recommend calling an electrician. Configuration in the application, however, is simple and guided.

Does the 2PM Gen3 work with Apple HomeKit?

Not natively. It is compatible with Home Assistant, Alexa, Google Home and all platforms supporting MQTT. HomeKit integration is possible via Home Assistant with the application's HomeKit bridge.
