The integrated 360° IR blaster transforms your existing remote-controlled equipment into smart devices that can be controlled from the app or by voice. It doesn't just send commands: it also detects the use of the physical remote to maintain an accurate status in the app. Combined with an Aqara temperature and humidity sensor, it can control an IR air conditioner like a true connected thermostat and expose it to Matter.

The M3 connects via dual-band 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi with WPA3 security, or via its PoE port for a stable and reliable wired connection. Without a microphone or camera, it locally stores your configurations and automations in 8 GB of end-to-end encrypted memory. Magic Pair technology ensures automatic detection by the Aqara Home app as soon as it's powered on.
