SONOFF SNZB-06P Zigbee Human Presence Sensor
SONOFF SNZB-06P Zigbee Human Presence Sensor
Couldn't load pickup availability
Powered by USB-C 5V/1A for continuous operation without battery constraints, it uses a low-power 5.8 GHz presence radar to detect human presence even when the person is completely still, by analyzing the micro-movements related to breathing. Lights turn on when approached and remain active as long as presence is detected by the SONOFF SNZB-06P Zigbee human presence sensor, eliminating untimely shutdowns that disrupt daily comfort. A compatible Zigbee 3.0 hub is required.
Integrated ambient light sensor and local automations without internet
The SNZB-06P integrates an ambient light sensor that conditions light activation: in broad daylight, even if presence is detected, lights do not turn on unnecessarily, reducing energy consumption without additional configuration. Five trigger conditions are available for smart scenes: presence detected, presence with bright ambient light, presence with low light, no presence, and no presence for a defined duration. Zigbee scenes run locally even without an internet connection, as long as devices remain powered on.
Extended compatibility and wall mounting for the SONOFF SNZB-06P Zigbee human presence sensor
With dimensions of 44.2 × 44.2 × 59 mm and weighing 31 grams, the SNZB-06P can be easily mounted on a wall or flat surface for optimal room coverage. Compatible with SONOFF NSPanel Pro, iHost, ZB Bridge Pro, ZBBridge-U, and ZBDongle-E hubs. When paired with a compatible gateway, the SNZB-06P can expose its status to Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings, and other compatible platforms for cross-platform automations. Compatibility with third-party Zigbee gateways depends on the manufacturer and is not guaranteed by SONOFF.
Concrete use cases
Unlike a classic motion detector, the SNZB-06P is particularly suitable for offices, living rooms, bedrooms, and bathrooms where occupants often remain still for long periods. Lights, fans, or heating systems remain active as long as a presence is detected, even without visible movement.
FAQ
What is the difference between the SNZB-06P and a classic PIR motion sensor?
A PIR sensor only reacts to physical movement and turns off if the person remains still. The SNZB-06P uses a 5.8 GHz radar that also detects micro-movements related to breathing, ensuring lights remain active even when completely still.
Is the USB-C power supply included in the box?
No, the USB-C cable and power adapter are not included. The SNZB-06P requires continuous 5V 1A power via USB-C to function, with no battery option.
Can the ambient light sensor be deactivated?
Yes, the activation conditions for smart scenes are configurable from the eWeLink app. It is possible to trigger automations independently of the brightness level according to the needs of each installation.
