SONOFF TRVZB Zigbee Smart Thermostatic Radiator Valve
🌴 We are currently on vacation until September 4, 2026. Orders are temporarily suspended. Our catalog remains available to browse. For any inquiries regarding a product, please feel free to contact us.
Compatible with most hot water radiators equipped with an M30 × 1.5 mm thermostatic valve and supplied with an adapter kit covering most European manufacturers, it can be installed in minutes on the existing radiator valve without plumbing. Remotely controllable via the eWeLink app, by voice command or via smart programming, the SONOFF TRVZB Zigbee smart thermostatic head regulates the temperature of each radiator independently between 4°C and 35°C. A compatible Zigbee 3.0 hub is required.
Open window detection, frost protection, and six months of heating history
As soon as a sudden drop in temperature is detected by the TRVZB, it automatically closes the valve to avoid energy waste during ventilation, and reopens it as soon as the temperature rises by more than 1.5°C in 4.5 minutes. The frost protection mode maintains a minimum temperature to protect pipes during intense cold periods, without manual intervention. Six months of data history allow analysis of consumption trends and optimization of heating schedules according to actual household habits. Child safety physically disables the device buttons to prevent accidental modifications.
The SONOFF TRVZB Zigbee smart thermostatic head calibrates with an external temperature sensor
For regulation based on the actual room temperature rather than that measured directly at the radiator, the TRVZB can use readings from an external temperature sensor associated under the same eWeLink account, compatible with SNZB-02, SNZB-02D and SNZB-02P models. Temperature calibration is manually adjustable from the app to fine-tune reading accuracy depending on the environment. Valve opening is precisely adjustable in percentage from 0 to 100% for granular management of hot water flow in the radiator, available from SONOFF ZBBridge-P, ZBBridge-U, NSPanel Pro and iHost hubs.
Extended Zigbee 3.0 compatibility, voice commands and group management
Compatible with SONOFF iHost, NSPanel Pro, ZB Bridge Pro, ZBDongle-P and ZBDongle-E hubs, the TRVZB also joins Home Assistant via ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT, Amazon Echo speakers (Plus 2nd generation, Echo 4th generation, Echo Show 2nd generation) and SmartThings Hub V3. Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings, Alice and IFTTT allow setting or querying the target temperature and operating mode by voice command. Grouping several thermostatic heads under the same eWeLink account allows synchronization of several radiators in the same room for homogeneous thermal comfort. Note that Philips, IKEA and Fritzbox gateways are not supported.
FAQ
What is the difference between a thermostatic head and a room thermostat?
The SONOFF TRVZB thermostatic head regulates each radiator individually. A room thermostat measures the temperature of a room and generally controls the entire heating system. The TRVZB can also use a compatible external temperature sensor to improve regulation accuracy.
Is the TRVZB compatible with all hot water radiators?
The TRVZB is compatible with M30 × 1.5 mm threaded radiator thermostatic valves, which correspond to the vast majority of European hot water radiators. The included adapter kit covers major manufacturers. It is advisable to check your valve's threading before purchase.
Does open window detection work without an additional door or window sensor?
Yes, open window detection is completely autonomous and does not require an external sensor. The TRVZB analyzes rapid temperature variations itself: a sudden drop triggers valve closure, and a rise of more than 1.5°C in 4.5 minutes triggers its automatic reopening.
Can the TRVZB be controlled without an internet connection in case of outage?
Local automation management depends on the hub used. With SONOFF ZBBridge-P/U, NSPanel Pro or iHost hubs, local Zigbee scenes continue to function without internet. Features requiring the eWeLink cloud, such as push notifications, only work with an active connection.
